Ali learned this at a friends house and taught it to me!!!

You will need 1 package of Snap's Pretzels

1 big package of rolos candy

1 baking sheet

a pre-heated oven (Ali didn't know what temp. so just improvise. I think I just stick with 350*)

All you do is place as many pretzels on the baking sheet as you want. Open the rolos and unwrap each one. Place one rolo on each pretzel. Put baking sheet in the oven for 3 minutes, just enough for the rolos to start melting. Take out of the oven and put another pretzel on top of the rolo and lightly press the two together. Place the baking sheet in the fridge (or somewhere cold) until they have cooled down.

Eat and Enjoy!!!

Baking tip #1

When a recipe calls for self-rising flour and you only have all-purpose flour, make your own.

For every cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix well!

My own chicken pot pie! I think the directions say to boil or simmer for 15 minutes. I do the 15 and then just keep it on warm until i'm ready to eat..

As long as the potatoes & corn are soft, and the cheese is melted...you're good to eat!!!!

*** you can sprinkle little bits of cheese or cooked bacon to the top

This is a good one and much easier than doing the entire thing from scratch....

Oven baked fries

<img style="display:block; 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Shape dough into 1 inch balls & roll balls in the cinnamon, sugar mixture to coat. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. ( i usually push to dough down lightly with a fork but that's optional)

Bake in 375* oven for 10 to 11 minutes..

<br butter

1/4 cup flour

1 cup whole milk ( i use 1%)

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper (Mitch thinks this is too much so i usually don't add the entire amount)

recipe doesn't call for it but i add a dash of poultry seasoning

2 9 inch pie crusts (i use marie calanders only because they are the cheapest, the recipe calls for refriderated foldable pie crusts)

i use fresh celery 2 stalks cut up, fresh carrots cut up as many as you want, and frozen corn {i like a lot of corn}

the recipe calls for two 15-ounce cans of mixed vegetables!!!yuck!!!

(if you use the fresh vege's like I do you may want to boil them first. i don't because i like them to be hard{i hate cooked carrots, but if they are hard i can eat them})

you can also add potatoes boil ahead of time 3 or 4 medium size

Boil the chicken and cut up to size you like.

Chop the veges while the chicken is boiling

In a small pot over medium heat melt the butter. When butter is melted, add the flour and whisk it until smooth. Slowly pour in the chicken stock and whisk until the sauce is thick. Add the milk and whisk until the sauce is boiling. Whisk in salt, pepper and seasoning. Turn off the heat!

Put the cut up chicken and all the veges along with the sauce in a bowl and mix together. Seperate the pie crusts and add the mixture to one. Carefully place the other crust on top and let it sit for a minute before trying to take the crust out of the pan. It should loosen up enough that you should be able to pull the pan off without hurting the crust. Once the crust is out, with a sharp knife cut 3 X's in the crust. The crust will be tall, don't worry it is ok!!!

Place in 375* oven and bake for 40 minutes or until the crust is brown and the filling is bubbling.

Let sit for about 10 minutes before cutting!

My Moms Rolls!!Yummy!!

I haven't perfected this one yet but try it almost weekly!!! If i've ever made you rolls or brought rolls to an event, or you've had them at my house, this is the recipe I used!!!

2 1/2 cups milk. Heat until it form a film on the top

2-3 Tablespoons Yeast in in 1 cup warm water add 1 teaspoon sugar to the water (I always take the temp. of the water and make sure it is around 115 degrees)..let bubble

4 cups flour

add 1 cup sugar to the flour

2 tablespoons salt to the flour mixture

1 cube of butter add to hot milk

2 eggs beat and add to milk when cool

add the wet mix to the dry mix

add yeast

mix in more flour (about 4 more cups) until it is still a little bit sticky but can be handled {you probably want to knead some of the flour in}.

let raise until double in size...

roll out and cut into triangles. roll into crescents. (you can fold over and make parkerhouse or roll into 3 balls and put them in a muffin tin whatever you want).

place on baking sheet and let raise about 30-60 mins. or double in size

bake in pre-heated oven at 350* for 15 minutes. {sometimes I have the oven at 375, it depends on your oven and where you live}

*if you want you can spread soft butter on the dough after you have rolled it out before cutting the triangles

Hello!!!

I've been asked by a lot of different people for specific recipes so I decided rather than emailing or printing them out for everyone I would put them here. Some are recipes that are my own, some are recipes that I have found and modified, some come from family. Feel free to use them and let me know what you think!!!
